The browser-based route
Paste an individual supported HTTPS source, select a format and ask the server to prepare it. The server can retrieve video and audio tracks, merge compatible sources and convert audio. When preparation finishes, you save the file through your browser. A phone does not need a desktop Chrome extension for this route. It does need a running processing service behind the website.
The optional desktop route
The Chrome extension can inspect the current page after a user action. Supported direct files can be saved through Chrome, and an optional local companion can handle supported extraction, merging and audio conversion on that device. It is a separate local workflow, not a mandatory installation for every website visitor.
What quality means here
We show available source choices, not an invented resolution. MP4 profiles use H.264 video and AAC audio where available. Audio formats include original sources and conversion to MP3, M4A, AAC, OPUS, OGG, FLAC, WAV and AIFF. Converting compressed audio to a lossless container does not restore detail. Sizes may be measured, estimated or unknown, and estimates are identified.
Trial and paid access
A browser gets three free downloads once, at up to 720p video or MP3 at 128 kbps, without login. Duration does not change that count. Paid access removes the trial quota, while operating limits still apply. There is no claim that a plan unlocks every video, provides copyright permission or guarantees a source will remain available.
Responsible operation
FIRST does not take source-site passwords, bypass protected streams or provide a public library of users’ prepared files. Website outputs are temporary and should be saved promptly. Read the privacy information to understand account and server processing. This product is independent and is not presented as endorsed by YouTube, Google, Apple or any source platform.
